A symbol of "La Dolce Vita"

In the 1950s and 1960s, during the “Dolce Vita” era, the Bar della Pace was at the heart of Rome’s social scene. Thanks to its proximity to Piazza Navona and the Chiostro del Bramante, it was often associated with the city’s artistic and intellectual circles and was frequented by writers, painters, and filmmakers.

The restaurant

After being closed for eight years, the Bar della Pace reopened to the public in 2024 following a renovation that preserved its original charm. Today, the venue has expanded its culinary offerings while maintaining a strong connection to Roman cuisine, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as after-dinner entertainment featuring DJ sets and live music.
